Natsume`s Book of Friends (4)

Natsume's Book of Friends Four (Natsume Yuujinchou Shi) is the fourth season of the anime series Natsume's Book of Friends. The story continues to revolve around Takashi Natsume, a young man with strong spiritual powers. He inherited the 'Book of Friends' from his grandmother, Reiko Natsume, a contract book that records the names of the yōkai she defeated and subjugated. Natsume decides to return these names to the yōkai one by one, allowing them to regain their freedom. In the fourth season, Natsume continues to encounter various yōkai, some friendly and some malicious. He also grows during this process, learning how to face his special relationship with the yōkai, as well as the complex emotions between humans and yōkai. At the same time, he gradually uncovers the secrets of his grandmother Reiko's past. In addition to the stories between yōkai, Natsume's interactions with his human friends also become deeper, which makes his life full of warmth and challenges. The fourth season explores loneliness, bonds, and the longing for the deceased in greater depth, presenting more delicate emotions and deeper reflections.
