Recorder and Randsell (リコーダーとランドセル, Rikōdā to Randoseru), also known as RecoRan, is a Japanese yonkoma manga series by Meme Higashiya. The story revolves around the lives of siblings Atsushi Miyagawa and Atsumi Miyagawa. Atsushi, despite being an 11-year-old elementary school student, looks like a fully-grown adult at 180 centimeters tall. Meanwhile, his 17-year-old high school sister, Atsumi, appears to be a young child, standing at only 137 centimeters tall. This dramatic difference in their appearances compared to their actual ages leads to constant misunderstandings and comedic situations in their daily lives. The manga has been adapted into an anime short series by Seven, with each episode lasting approximately 3 minutes. The first season, titled Recorder to Randoseru Do♪, premiered in January 2012, consisting of 13 episodes, followed by Recorder to Randoseru Re♪ and Recorder to Randoseru Mi♪ in July 2013. The anime showcases the amusing everyday stories of the siblings as they navigate the challenges and misunderstandings that arise due to their ironic physical appearances. The series is available on various streaming platforms, gaining popularity for its unique premise and light-hearted comedy.
