Campione!

Campione! is a Japanese light novel series created by Jō Taketsuki. The story centers around Godou Kusanagi, a former baseball player who becomes a "Campione" or "God Slayer" after killing the god of war, Verethragna. As a Campione, he gains supernatural abilities to kill gods and steal their powers. He is then tasked with battling Heretic Gods who try to change the world order at the expense of humanity. He is surrounded by a group of loyal followers, mostly female, who assist him in his battles. The series blends mythology, action, and harem elements, as Godou grows stronger through his fights with deities and develops complex relationships with these female characters. The series has been adapted into a manga and a 13-episode anime that aired in 2012.
