Library War: The Wings of Revolution

"Library War: The Wings of Revolution" is a 2012 Japanese animated film adapting "Library Revolution," the fourth and final volume of the "Library War" light novel series by Hiro Arikawa. Produced by Production I.G and distributed by Kadokawa Pictures, the film follows the Library Defense Force as they protect novelist Kurato Tōma, whose book resembles a recent terror attack, making him a target of the Media Betterment Committee. Iku Kasahara and Atsushi Dojo, members of the LDF, face both the challenges of protecting Touma and navigating their own relationship. The film explores themes of freedom of expression and censorship, set against a backdrop of action-packed sequences and political intrigue. It's a sequel to the 2008 TV anime series "Library War," with the original voice cast reprising their roles.
