Kagaku na Yatsura (カガクなヤツら), also known as "Scientific Guys," is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hideaki Yoshikawa. It was serialized in Akita Shoten's seinen manga magazine Champion Red Ichigo from February 2010 to December 2013, with its chapters collected into six tankōbon volumes. The story centers around Haruki Komaba, an ordinary high school student who finds himself the object of affection for two scientifically gifted girls: Airi Kuze, a mechanical science expert, and Touko Hizuki, a half-dog, half-girl chemical science expert. Airi is a somewhat crazed genius in mechanics, while Touko possesses canine ears and is a prodigy in chemistry. They engage in a series of absurd and comical antics at school to vie for Haruki's attention and club membership. The manga contains a significant amount of tentacle and explicit sexual content despite being classified as a general manga, making it more suitable for mature audiences. In 2013, an original video animation (OVA) produced by Hoods Entertainment and directed by Hiraku Kaneko was released as a bonus with the limited edition of the manga's fourth volume on Blu-ray.
