Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone (イナズマイレブンGO2 クロノ・ストーン) is the second game in the Inazuma Eleven GO series and the fifth installment in the overall Inazuma Eleven franchise. The game was released in Japan on December 13, 2012, and comes in two versions: Neppuu (Hot Wind) and Raimei (Thunderclap). The story begins after Raimon Junior High's victory at the Holy Road tournament. Main character Tenma Matsukaze returns to school to find that everything has changed: the soccer club has vanished, and his teammates have lost their memories of playing soccer. To save soccer, Tenma teams up with Fei Rune, a boy from the future, and they travel through time searching for the powerful "Chrono Storm Eleven." New systems like "Keshin Armed" and "Mixi Max" are introduced, allowing characters to transform their Keshin into armor or fuse with others to gain greater power. The plot twists and turns across multiple historical periods, and players must compete against unique teams in different eras. The game offers extensive collecting and character development elements. It was released in Europe and Australia as Inazuma Eleven GO: Chrono Stones: Wildfire and Inazuma Eleven GO: Chrono Stones: Thunderflash.
