OniAi

"OniAi" (お兄ちゃんだけど愛さえあれば関係ないよねっ, Onii-chan dakedo Ai sae Areba Kankei Nai yo ne!, lit. "As Long as There's Love, It Doesn't Matter If He Is My Brother, Right?") is a Japanese light novel series written by Daisuke Suzuki and illustrated by Gekka Urū. Published by Media Factory, the series ran from December 2010 to January 2019, with a total of 12 volumes. The story revolves around the Himenokōji twins, Akito and Akiko, who are reunited after six years of separation due to their parents' death. Akiko harbors an intense romantic love for her older brother, Akito, leading to a series of romantic comedy situations. Beyond light novels, the series has been adapted into manga and anime. There are two manga adaptations illustrated by Kuro Rokushō and Akira Yamane, respectively and serialized in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine. The anime adaptation, produced by Silver Link, aired from October to December 2012, consisting of 12 episodes. This work is popular for its unique sibling incest theme and its light-hearted comedic tone. Despite poor anime sales, the light novels and manga have gained some popularity and have been translated into multiple languages.
