"My Little Monster" (Japanese: となりの怪物くん, Hepburn: Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun), is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Robico. The story revolves around two high school students with vastly different personalities: Shizuku Mizutani, a studious girl known as "dry ice" who is only focused on academics, and Haru Yoshida, a problem child with an impulsive but kind heart. Their relationship begins when Shizuku is tasked to deliver class printouts to the truant Haru, and from there, an unexpected friendship and romance blossom. Haru's straightforward and enthusiastic nature contrasts sharply with Shizuku's aloofness, but as they spend time together, they gradually change and learn how to interact with others, as well as accept their feelings for each other. The series explores themes of friendship, love, and personal growth with a light-hearted and humorous tone. In addition to the manga, "My Little Monster" has also been adapted into an anime and a live-action film, gaining popularity among audiences.
