Btooom!

Btooom! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Junya Inoue. The story revolves around Ryota Sakamoto, an unemployed young man who is a top player in the online combat game called 'BTOOOM!' In the real world, Ryota is a recluse and slacker. One day, he finds himself on a tropical island with no memory of how he got there. He soon realizes he's trapped in a real-life version of 'BTOOOM!', where players are forced to kill each other using various types of bombs called BIMs. To survive, Ryota must use his gaming skills and experience. He also encounters Himiko, another player who was his in-game wife. Together, they fight against the game's harsh realities while uncovering the conspiracy behind it all. The series explores themes of video game addiction, social isolation, and the will to survive. It is known for its intense action sequences and complex characters. The manga concluded with 26 volumes and has an anime adaptation. There are also spin-offs and games based on the series.
