Ixion Saga DT

Ixion Saga DT (Ixion Saga Dimensional Transfer) is a Japanese anime television series based on the online game Ixion Saga by Capcom. It began airing on October 6, 2012, and ended on March 30, 2013. The story follows Kon Hokaze, an average high school student and avid gamer, who is transported to the alternate world of Mira while playing an online game after receiving a request from a female character. He accidentally saves Princess Ecarlate by landing on her attacker with his swivel chair. Not knowing how he got there or how to return, Kon joins the princess's honor guard, as a militant faction of her country seeks to capture her before her arranged marriage. Kon possesses a natural ability to control a mysterious energy called "Alma," making him a "Hyperion", but he prefers to avoid dangerous fights and uses cheap tactics when needed. He is nicknamed "DT" by the princess and his companions, which is short for "dōtei" meaning "virgin" in Japanese slang. The anime also has been adapted into two manga series and a light novel series.
