Oreshura

Oreshura, short for Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru (My Girlfriend and Childhood Friend Fight Too Much), is a Japanese light novel series written by Yūji Yūji and illustrated by Ruroo. The story follows Eita Kidō, a high school student who avoids romance due to family issues and aims to become a doctor. He's suddenly asked by the school's most beautiful girl, Masuzu Natsukawa, to pretend to be her boyfriend in order to fend off constant confessions. Blackmailed to keep his embarrassing middle school diary a secret, Eita agrees. This fake relationship sparks a chaotic love triangle with his childhood friend, Chiwa Harusaki, and is further complicated by other self-proclaimed ex-girlfriends and fiances. The light novel series was published by SB Creative from 2011 to 2022, with 18 main volumes and 1 spin-off. It has also been adapted into a manga series and an anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures, which aired from January to March 2013. The series is known for its exaggerated comedy and harem-style romantic plot.
