Haganai Next

Haganai NEXT (僕は友達が少ないNEXT), also known as I Don't Have Many Friends NEXT, is the second season of the anime adaptation based on the light novel series I Don't Have Many Friends written by Yomi Hirasaka. The story continues from the first season, focusing on Kodaka Hasegawa and his interactions with the members of the Neighbors Club, including Yozora Mikazuki and Sena Kashiwazaki. The second season introduces new members and follows the club as they participate in various activities, such as amusement park visits, gaming sessions, birthday parties, and even a school festival. However, beneath the comedic facade, the relationships between the members of the Neighbors Club are undergoing significant changes. The anime maintains a lighthearted tone while exploring the characters' struggles with their own flaws and interpersonal challenges as they seek genuine friendships. Haganai NEXT also retains the numerous references to anime, manga, and video game culture from the original work, providing added entertainment for the audience. Produced by AIC Build, the anime aired from January to March 2013, with popular opening theme "Be My Friend" and ending theme "Bokura no Tsubasa".
