Maken-Ki! Two (マケン姫っ！通) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Xebec. It originally aired in Japan from January 16, 2014, to March 20, 2014. This season primarily features original, self-contained story arcs, differing from the first season, which adapted the first five volumes of the manga. The second season also saw changes in some character designs, due to being produced by a different studio. The plot continues at Tenbi Academy, where protagonist Takeru Ooyama is part of the newly formed Security Committee. They battle unscrupulous individuals who misuse their “Makens”. Simultaneously, Takeru's libido and the conflicting romantic interests of the girls surrounding him further complicate matters. Funimation Entertainment released the series on Blu-ray and DVD in North America on April 12, 2016. The series is known for its blend of school life, combat scenes, and harem-style romantic comedy elements.
