ごきチャ!! Cockroach Girls

Gokicha!! Cockroach Girls is a Japanese 4-koma manga series created by Rui Tamachi. It initially began as a self-published doujin work before being serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine from March 2011 to August 2016. The series follows the story of Gokicha, an anthropomorphic cockroach girl who moves from Kanto to Hokkaido in the hope of making human friends. However, due to the unpopularity of cockroaches among humans, Gokicha often finds herself in unfortunate situations, such as being stepped on or sprayed with insecticide. Despite this, she continues to strive to befriend humans and explore her new surroundings with her friend Chaba. The manga has been compiled into 5 tankobon volumes. In 2012, an anime adaptation by Movic began streaming on Nico Nico Douga, consisting of 2 episodes of approximately 8 minutes each. The anime tells the heartwarming tale of Gokicha's attempts to be liked by humans while dodging insecticide. The characters are voiced by renowned voice actors, including Mamiko Noto as Gokicha and Rie Kugimiya as Chaba.
