Glitter Force Doki Doki

Glitter Force Doki Doki is the English dub of the Japanese anime series DokiDoki! Precure, produced by Saban Brands and streamed on Netflix. The first season premiered on August 18, 2017, followed by the second season on November 10, 2017. It is an adaptation of the tenth installment in Toei Animation's Pretty Cure franchise. The original series consisted of 49 episodes, which were abridged to 30 for the English dub. The story revolves around four girls who gain the ability to transform into Glitter Force warriors with the help of mystical pixies, as they battle evil forces to protect Earth and the magical kingdom of Splendorius. The show's themes center on love, emotions, selflessness, and selfishness, and the Glitter Force transformations and weapons are themed around playing card suits. This version has some differences in the storyline and character portrayal from the original series, making it a separate continuity. The show was removed from Netflix on November 9, 2024.
