Z/X Ignition

Z/X Ignition is a 2014 anime television series adapted from the trading card game Z/X -Zillions of enemy X-. It aired in Japan from January to April 2014. The story is set in the near future where five "Black Points" suddenly appear around the world, acting as portals to parallel worlds. Strange creatures known as "Z/X" emerge from these portals and begin invading the human world. These creatures are from five different future timelines, and they battle each other to ensure their own timeline's survival, dragging humanity into the conflict. The protagonist, Asuka Tennouji, obtains a special device that allows him to control Z/X and is tasked with protecting the world. The anime follows Asuka and his allies as they fight to prevent the Z/X from different worlds from consuming each other. The plot is mainly original, differing slightly from the card game's storyline while retaining key characters and world-building elements. The anime was produced by Telecom Animation Film and consists of 12 episodes. Besides the anime, there are also manga, games, and other related spin-offs.
