Servant x Service

Servant x Service is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Karino Takatsu. It revolves around the daily lives of the unique civil servants working in the health and welfare department of the fictional Mitsuba Ward Office. The series originally began serialization in Square Enix's Zōkan Young Gangan in 2007, later moving to Monthly Big Gangan, where it concluded in 2014, totaling four collected volumes. The story follows newcomers Lucy Yamagami (who has an extremely long name), Yutaka Hasebe, and Saya Miyoshi, along with their senior colleague Taishi Ichimiya. Lucy became a civil servant seeking revenge on the person who approved her long name; Hasebe is an easygoing slacker; and Miyoshi is a timid newcomer. They encounter various situations and personalities at work, developing relationships and learning to navigate the challenges of being civil servants. Known for its light-hearted humor and realistic portrayal of everyday civil servant life, the series was adapted into a 13-episode anime television series that aired in 2013.
