"The Pilot's Love Song" (とある飛空士への恋歌, Toaru Hikōshi e no Koiuta) is a Japanese light novel series written by Koroku Inumura. It is set in the same fictional universe as his earlier light novel, "The Princess and the Pilot." Five volumes were published between 2009 and 2011 by Shogakukan under their Gagaga Bunko imprint. An anime television series by TMS Entertainment aired in 2014, and a manga adaptation was serialized in Shogakukan's "Weekly Shonen Sunday S" from February 2014 to September 2015. The story follows Kar-el Albus, a former prince who lost everything in a revolution, and Claire Cruz, a girl who became the symbol of that revolution (actually Nina Viento). Kar-el embarks on a one-way journey to find the end of the sky, encountering Claire aboard the floating island Isla. It’s a tale about a prince who lost everything, travels with hate and revenge in his heart, and learns about friendship and love along the way. The series combines elements of romance, aerial combat, and fantasy, chronicling their adventure and growth amidst a turbulent world.
