Walkure Romanze

Walkure Romanze (ワルキューレロマンツェ), is an adult visual novel developed by Ricotta, released on October 28, 2011. The story is set in an academy where jousting is the main sport. The protagonist, Takahiro Mizuno, was once a promising knight but became a Begleiter (assistant) after an injury. He initially wants a peaceful life but is forced to become a temporary assistant for his childhood friend, Mio Kisaki, who is unexpectedly involved in a jousting match. Following this, various beautiful female knights desire him as their Begleiter, leading to a series of events. The game won first place in the Graphics category at Getchu.com's 2011 Bishōjo Game Awards. It was also adapted into an anime series in 2013, produced by Eight Bit, and has manga adaptations. A spin-off titled Walkure Romanze More&More was later released, adding new heroines and endings. Overall, Walkure Romanze combines medieval knight culture with harem, sports, and romance elements in its visual novel and adaptations.
