ルパン一家勢揃い

"Lupin Family Line-up" is a short animated film, approximately 10 minutes in length, based on the first chapter of Monkey Punch's manga "New Lupin III," also titled "Lupin Family Line-up." It was released on March 28, 2012, as part of the "Lupin III Master File" collection. This short is notable for the return of voice actors Goro Naya (Inspector Zenigata), Makio Inoue (Daisuke Jigen), and Eiko Masuyama (Fujiko Mine), who had stepped down in 2011, marking their last collaboration as the Lupin Family. It also includes sound director Satoshi Kato and Chikao Otsuka, who voiced Goemon Ishikawa in the first TV series, both of whom had also left the series with the main cast. Notably, this was the final voice work for Naya and Inoue as Zenigata and Goemon respectively, and Otsuka's final appearance in the "Lupin III" franchise. The characters' costumes are based on the first TV series, with Lupin's jacket being green, Jigen's tie white, Goemon's hakama being blue, and Zenigata's hat being black. The story revolves around Fujiko Mine being invited to a mansion on a solitary island by someone who knows Lupin III. A mysterious man wearing an iron mask is chained in the mansion. Goemon Ishikawa and Daisuke Jigen then appear separately, engaging in a fight before they are faced with a common threat, all while Inspector Zenigata and the police are closing in on the island.
