殺し屋さん The hired gun

"Koroshiya-san: The Hired Gun" is a Japanese 4-koma manga created by Tama-chiku, which has been serialized in Futabasha's "Manga Action" magazine since 2004. The series is a comedy that follows the daily life of a self-proclaimed top hitman in Japan. This hitman lives by the motto, "If I have an assignment, I will kill anything," but his "killing" targets have expanded to everything from summer vacation homework to household chores. Though his goal is not to be funny, he always manages to bring laughter to those around him. This manga was later adapted into an anime, consisting of 10 episodes, each about 3 minutes long, produced by Opera House and aired in 2013. The anime faithfully captures the humor of the manga, further expanding the reach of the series.
