Her actions attract the hostility of the Church and the attention of the archangel Michael. Michael warns Maria that she will lose her magic if she loses her virginity and forbids her from publicly using magic. Despite this, Maria continues to intervene in the war, seeking to maintain peace in her own way. The series is known for its unique premise, humorous dialogue, and reflection on war.
