お姉ちゃんが来た

"Oneechan ga Kita" (お姉ちゃんが来た), also known as "My Big Sister Arrived," is a Japanese 4-panel manga series created by Rikō Anzai. It was serialized in Takeshobo's seinen manga magazine "Manga Life" from December 2010 to August 2020, and also in its sister magazine "Manga Life MOMO" from 2011 to 2019. The story revolves around Tomoya Mizuhara, a 13-year-old middle school student, who gains a 17-year-old high school step-sister, Ichika Mizuhara, when his father remarries. Ichika's affection for Tomoya is extremely strong, even to a somewhat frightening degree. The series follows their daily life with plenty of comedy and light-hearted elements. "Oneechan ga Kita" was adapted into a short-form TV anime series in 2014, produced by C2C. Each episode was around 3 minutes long. The anime aired on TOKYO MX and other channels, and was also available on various streaming platforms. The anime had 12 episodes, with an additional OVA episode included in the Blu-ray release. The anime's theme song is "Piece" by Misuzu Togashi. The series is well-regarded for its comedic exaggeration and slightly over-the-top portrayal of the step-sibling relationship.
