"Crayon Shin-chan: Intense Battle! Robo Dad Strikes Back" is a 2014 Japanese animated film and the 22nd installment in the Crayon Shin-chan film series. Directed by Wataru Takahashi and written by Kazuki Nakashima, the film tells the story of Hiroshi Nohara who, after suffering a back injury and receiving a mysterious massage, is turned into a robot. Initially, the Nohara family is bewildered by the robotic Hiroshi, but soon they accept his convenience in housework and caregiving. However, this is part of a larger conspiracy by the "Association of Fathers" to turn all fathers into robots and take over the world. Ultimately, Shin-chan, the robot dad, and the real human dad join forces to combat the Association and save their family and the world. The film is well-regarded for its humorous style, heartfelt portrayal of family bonds, and was nominated for an animation award at the Japan Media Arts Festival. It was also released in India under the name "Shin Chan Movie: Robot Dad." This film is also noted as the last Crayon Shin-chan film to feature new audio of Keiji Fujiwara as Robot Dad before his passing.
