The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior

"The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior" (僕らはみんな河合荘, Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ruri Miyahara. It was serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha's seinen manga magazine Young King OURs from June 2010 to February 2018. The story follows Kazunari Usa, a high school freshman who starts living on his own in the Kawai Complex dormitory due to his parents' job transfer. There, he encounters Ritsu, a senior he admires, as well as other eccentric residents, including a masochistic roommate, a hopeless-in-love drunkard, and a seemingly innocent college student who enjoys toying with men. The series depicts Usa's daily life in the quirky dormitory and the developing relationship between him and Ritsu. The manga was collected into 11 tankōbon volumes, and an additional volume was also released. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation produced by Brain's Base aired in Japan in 2014. The anime was streamed with English subtitles by Crunchyroll and licensed by Sentai Filmworks. The opening theme is "Somewhen, Some Worlds With You" by fhána, and the ending theme is "My Sweet Shelter" by Kana Hanazawa, Rina Satō, and Hisako Kanemoto.
