"Kamigami no Asobi," also known as "Mischief of the Gods," with the Latin subtitle "Ludere deorum," is a Japanese visual novel developed by Nippon Ichi Software and Broccoli. It was released on October 24, 2013, for the PlayStation Portable. The story follows Yui Kusanagi, the daughter of a Shinto shrine, who discovers a mysterious sword and is transported to another world. There, she meets the Greek god Zeus, who invites her to attend a school he created. To mend the weakening bond between gods and humans, Zeus wants Yui to teach the young gods about humans and the meaning of love. Classified as an otome game, the player assumes the role of Yui, able to pursue romantic relationships with various male characters. Subsequently, the game was adapted into an anime television series by Brain's Base, airing from April to June 2014, with manga and stage play adaptations also created. The story blends mythology, school life, and romance, making it popular among female players and viewers.
