Blue Spring Ride

"Blue Spring Ride" (Japanese: アオハライド, Ao Haru Ride), also known as "Aoharaido," is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Io Sakisaka. The story follows Futaba Yoshioka, who was ostracized by her female peers in middle school for being too cute. Due to a misunderstanding, she was unable to confess her feelings to the boy she liked, Tanaka Kou. In high school, Futaba attempts to change her image, but unexpectedly reunites with Kou, who now goes by the name Mabuchi Kou. Kou's personality is vastly different from his middle school days, confusing Futaba, but she gradually becomes drawn to him again. The series explores themes of self-discovery, friendship, love, and growth during adolescence. The manga was serialized in "Bessatsu Margaret" from 2011 to 2015 and has been adapted into various media, including anime, live-action films, and TV dramas. It is beloved for its delicate portrayal of teenage emotions and the complexities of youth.
