ひめゴト SECRET PRINCESS HIMEGOTO

Himegoto, also known as Secret Princess, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Norio Tsukudani. It was originally serialized in Ichijinsha's Waai! magazine, but was later featured in three additional magazines published by Ichijinsha: Waai! Mahalo, Monthly Comic Rex, and Febri. The manga was serialized across the four magazines from November 25, 2011, to June 27, 2015, and was collected into six tankōbon volumes. The story follows Hime Arikawa, a high school student who is saved by his school's student council from a massive debt left by his parents. In exchange, Hime is forced to join the student council and spend his high school life dressed as a girl. An anime television series adaptation by Asahi Production aired from July to September 2014. The anime was panned by critics for its focus on humiliation and shame, and reliance on a single joke throughout the series. The manga is known for its unique character designs and exploration of cross-dressing themes, often presented in a humorous way. The anime episodes are around three to four minutes long and are known for their compact and fast-paced comedic style.
