Cardfight!! Vanguard: Legion Mate is the fourth and final season of the first main series of the Cardfight!! Vanguard anime. It aired in Japan from March 9, 2014, to October 19, 2014, with a total of 33 episodes. This season follows the events of Cardfight!! Vanguard: Link Joker, focusing on Toshiki Kai as he tries to find Aichi Sendou, who has mysteriously disappeared, and everyone has forgotten about him. Kai battles against the mysterious 'Quatre Knights' to find Aichi. The season introduces the new 'Legion' battle mechanic and centers around Kai's journey to retrieve Aichi. This season does not have an English dub. Story-wise, it shares the same universe as Cardfight!! Vanguard G and is connected to the movie Cardfight!! Vanguard Neon Messiah. The show explores Kai's challenges as he tries to rescue Aichi. While not without its plot flaws, it serves as a vital part of the original series' storyline, offering a conclusion and evolution of the story arcs. It's an action-packed anime about friendship and battles.
