Magimoji Rurumo

Magimoji Rurumo (まじもじるるも) is a Japanese manga series by Wataru Watanabe, who is also known for his manga series Yowamushi Pedal. The story revolves around Kōta Shibaki, a high school student who discovers a book that can summon witches, leading him to meet Rurumo, an apprentice witch. To help Rurumo become a full-fledged witch, Kōta needs to use 666 magical wish-granting tickets, but each ticket used shortens his lifespan. The series initially appeared as a one-shot story in July 2007 in Monthly Shōnen Sirius, before beginning serialization in October 2007. It was divided into three parts: Magimoji Rurumo, Magimoji Rurumo: Magic World Arc, and Magimoji Rurumo: After School Magic Junior High Student, which were serialized from 2007 to 2011, 2011 to 2013, and 2013 to 2019, respectively. The manga was also adapted into a television anime series produced by J.C.Staff and aired from July to September 2014. The anime follows Kōta and Rurumo's adventures and Kōta’s choices between helping Rurumo achieve her goals and saving his own life.
