High School DxD Born

High School DxD BorN (ハイスクールD×D BorN) is the third season of the High School DxD anime series. It was produced by TNK, directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa, and written by Takao Yoshioka. The season aired from April to June 2015, consisting of 12 episodes. BorN adapts material from the fifth to seventh volumes of the light novels, with a rearranged storyline. The season focuses on the main character, Issei Hyoudou, and the members of the Occult Research Club as they undergo intense training in the Underworld and battle increasingly powerful foes. It also incorporates humorous daily life scenes and delves into the relationships between the characters. The battle sequences in this season are more intense, and the character bonds are strengthened, creating a captivating experience for viewers. BorN made some adaptations to the original story to make it more compact and the character development is richer, gaining popularity among viewers. This was also the last season produced by TNK as the series was handed over to Passione for the subsequent seasons.
