School-Live! (Gakkou Gurashi!) is a Japanese manga series written by Norimitsu Kaihō (Nitroplus) and illustrated by Sadoru Chiba. It was serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine from 2012 to 2019. The story begins with a seemingly heartwarming school life, depicting the survival of the School Living Club, consisting of Yuki, Kurumi, Yuuri, and Miki, within their zombie-infested school. Yuki, due to psychological trauma, warps the brutal reality into a normal school life, while the other members strive to survive while maintaining her illusion. The work combines elements of slice-of-life, moe, horror, and suspense, cleverly utilizing 'narrative tricks' to switch between cute and cruel scenes, shocking the audience. In addition to the manga, the work has also been adapted into anime and live-action film formats.
