"Mobile Suit Gundam-san" is a yonkoma (4-panel) manga series created by Hideki Ohwada, serving as a parody of the classic anime "Mobile Suit Gundam." This manga uses super-deformed character designs and humorous storylines to satirize the original work's iconic scenes, making it beloved among Gundam fans. The manga has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's "Gundam Ace" magazine since 2001, with multiple collected volumes published. In addition to the 4-panel comics, it also features several short stories such as "Captain Zaku-san". In 2014, Sunrise produced an anime short series of the same name, further expanding the work's influence. The anime was broadcast on BS11 and other television channels as short episodes of about 3 minutes each. Overall, "Mobile Suit Gundam-san" is a light-hearted and humorous work that pays homage to the original series, allowing Gundam fans to revisit the classic in laughter.
