"Steins;Gate: The Sagacious Wisdom of Cognitive Computing" is a series of four short anime episodes produced as a collaboration between the Steins;Gate franchise and IBM. Released between October and November 2014, these shorts aim to promote IBM's cognitive computing technology. Set within the Steins;Gate universe, the episodes depict the Future Gadget Laboratory members experiencing various everyday conveniences through an Upa-shaped device equipped with a cognitive computing system. The shorts explore the application of cognitive computing in settings like the kitchen, navigation, fashion, and meetings. They are lighthearted, well-animated with expressive characters, and Kurisu's portrayal is particularly lauded. The series is seen as a complement to the Steins;Gate universe and shares some thematic links with the "Amadeus" system from Steins;Gate 0. Despite being shorts, the scripts are well-paced and incorporate classic Steins;Gate elements, delighting fans. Currently, the official website is closed, and the series can only be viewed on video streaming platforms.
