Japan Anima(tor)'s Exhibition (Japanese: 日本アニメ(ーター)見本市, Nihon Animētā Mihon'ichi) is a series of original net animations, a collaborative project between Hideaki Anno's Studio Khara and Dwango. This series aimed to showcase the talent of emerging animators and explore future trends in animation through standalone short films. It was released weekly on Niconico from November 7, 2014, to October 9, 2015, and was streamed worldwide. The shorts varied widely in style, covering different themes and experimental aesthetic designs. Although the official website and related materials were temporarily closed in December 2018, some works from the project have continued to circulate, such as 'The Dragon Dentist', which was adapted into a longer anime, and the early concepts of 'Denkou Choujin Gridman' that were reused in 'SSSS.GRIDMAN'. Japan Anima(tor)'s Exhibition brought fresh ideas and techniques to the animation industry, captivating animation fans worldwide.
