Yatterman Night

"Yatterman Night" (夜ノヤッターマン, Yoru no Yattāman) is an anime television series produced by Tatsunoko Production. The series commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Time Bokan franchise and is inspired by Tatsunoko's 1970s anime series "Yatterman". The story is set several generations after the original "Yatterman" series. The Yattermen, once considered heroes of justice, have become corrupt and the descendants of the previously exiled Doronbow Gang live in poverty. Leopard, a direct descendant of the Doronbow Gang leader Doronjo, decides to reform the gang after her mother dies due to the Yattermen's callousness. She, along with Voltkatze and Elephantus, the descendants of Boyacky and Tonzura, rebel against the corrupt Yattermen. The anime aired in Japan from January 13 to March 31, 2015, with a total of 12 episodes. It blends comedy with serious drama, depicting the adventures of Doronjo's descendants. The anime is licensed in North America by Funimation.
