Castle Town Dandelion

Castle Town Dandelion (Japanese: 城下町のダンデライオン, Jōkamachi no Danderaion) is a Japanese four-panel comic strip manga series written and illustrated by Ayumu Kasuga. It first appeared in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine in June 2012. The manga revolves around the Sakurada family, a royal family living a seemingly normal life in a typical Japanese suburban household. The family consists of nine siblings, each with unique superpowers, and over 2,000 security cameras are placed around town to ensure their safety. Furthermore, each sibling is a potential successor to the throne, with an election determining the next ruler. The story primarily focuses on Akane Sakurada, a timid and shy girl who possesses the power to control gravity. The constant monitoring and attention from the cameras are a nightmare for her, as she knows that if she becomes queen, all the cameras will have to disappear. The manga began serialization in August 2012 and was adapted into a 12-episode anime television series by Production IMS in 2015. The anime aired from July to September 2015 and is licensed in North America by Funimation. The series is known for its heartwarming family dynamics, humorous situations, and unique superpower premise.
