The Anthem of the Heart (Japanese: 心が叫びたがってるんだ., Hepburn: Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda., lit. 'My Heart Wants to Shout'), also known as Kokosake (ここさけ), is a 2015 Japanese animated youth drama film produced by A-1 Pictures. Directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai and written by Mari Okada, with Masayoshi Tanaka as chief animation director and character designer, the film tells the story of Jun Naruse, a young girl who becomes unable to speak after a childhood trauma. She was cursed by a "fairy egg" for inadvertently causing her family to break apart. Years later, in high school, she is chosen to be a member of the Community Outreach Event along with three other classmates and joins them to create a musical. Through this experience, she rediscovers her voice and learns to express her feelings. The main theme song is "Ima, Hanashitai Dareka ga Iru" performed by Nogizaka46.
