Mikagura School Suite

Mikagura School Suite (ミカグラ学園組曲, Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku) is a Japanese multimedia franchise created by Last Note. It began as a series of Vocaloid songs sung by GUMI, with illustrations by Akina. The series is set in a boarding high school called Mikagura Academy, where students must join extracurricular activity clubs and influence school life through battles between clubs. The story revolves around first-year student Eruna Ichinomiya, who enrolls because she admires the cute uniforms and the idea of a cultural club-centered school life, only to find that the school is much more than she had imagined. The series has since expanded into light novels, manga, and a television anime adaptation, each adapted by different studios and writers, but maintaining the core concept of club battles and campus life. The series blends lighthearted school life with super-powered battles, presenting its unique world through the perspectives of different characters. The anime was produced by Dogakobo and aired in 2015. The franchise also has many songs, with 'Houkago Stride' being one of its most recognizable tracks.
