Haikyu!! 2nd Season

Haikyuu!! Second Season (ハイキュー!! セカンドシーズン) is a television anime series produced by Production I.G, and serves as a sequel to the first season of Haikyuu!!. The anime aired from October 4, 2015, to March 27, 2016, with a total of 25 episodes. The second season adapts the “Tokyo Expedition” arc (chapters 72–96) and the first half of the “Spring High Preliminary” arc (chapters 97–149) from the original manga series written by Haruichi Furudate. The story continues from the first season, depicting the Karasuno High School volleyball team refocusing their efforts on the Spring High School Volleyball Tournament after their participation in the Inter-High. They receive an invitation from their long-standing rival, Nekoma High, to participate in a large training camp in Tokyo, alongside many notable volleyball teams from across Japan, including some national-level players. By playing against these tough teams, Karasuno aims to not only sharpen their skills but also come up with new attacks to strengthen them. Furthermore, Hinata and Kageyama attempt to devise a more powerful weapon that can break through even the sturdiest of blocks. To live up to the expectations of their graduating seniors, the members of Karasuno’s volleyball team must learn to overcome their differences and train harder than ever if they hope to defeat formidable opponents, including their archrival Aoba Jousai and its world-class setter Tooru Oikawa.
