VAMPIRE HOLMES

"Vampire Holmes" is an animated series that offers an alternative take on the classic detective figure. In this story, Holmes is not the traditional detective who uses logical deduction, but rather a hunter whose mission is to hunt vampires. The anime retells the story of Holmes and his assistant in three-minute short episodes. Initially, they run a regular detective agency, but their daily lives take a turn towards the mysterious and supernatural when the Metropolitan Police of London secretly hires them to investigate vampire cases. However, beneath the surface, Holmes and his assistant Hudson spend most of their time arguing and failing to solve any cases. They are joined by a demon cat named Kira and a strict, greedy landlady. This anime presents a unique and humorous portrayal of Holmes, not as London's greatest detective but as an unconventional vampire hunter.
