Chaos Dragon

Chaos Dragon: Sekiryuu Seneki (ケイオスドラゴン 赤竜戦役) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Silver Link and Connect, which aired from July to September 2015. It is based on the Japanese role-playing game Red Dragon by Makoto Sanda. The story is set in Huanli Year 3015, where the world is torn apart by a war between the two powerful nations of Donatia and Kouran. The small island nation of Nil Kamui suffers greatly, losing its independence and with its guardian deity, the Red Dragon, going out of control. The protagonist, Ibuki, a descendant of Nil Kamui's royal family, resides in an orphanage and refuses to take on the role of king. Despite his aversion to conflict, Ibuki is drawn into the chaotic war. Can he rise to the occasion and save his country? The anime is based on the tabletop role-playing project Red Dragon, created by five notable writers: Gen Urobuchi, Kinoko Nasu, Izuki Kogyoku, Simadoriru, and Ryogo Narita. Their six-day tabletop role-playing game sessions created material for a seven-volume light novel series. In addition, Chaos Dragon also includes a board game titled Chaos Dragon: Haō Shunjū, and a role-playing game for iOS and Android devices, titled Chaos Dragon: Konton Senso.
