One-Punch Man

One-Punch Man (ワンパンマン, Wanpanman) is a Japanese superhero manga series created by ONE. The story follows Saitama, an incredibly powerful hero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch. Having reached the peak of strength through rigorous training, Saitama finds himself bored by the lack of challenge. He joins the Hero Association in search of worthy adversaries, encountering other heroes and monsters along the way. Originally a webcomic started by ONE in 2009, the series was later remade as a manga with illustrations by Yusuke Murata and serialized on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website. One-Punch Man has also been adapted into an anime, with the first season produced by Madhouse and the second and third seasons by J.C.Staff. Known for its unique humor and subversion of the superhero genre, One-Punch Man breaks away from traditional hero stories, focusing on the protagonist's mundane life and his yearning for a challenge.
