The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls (Japanese: アイドルマスター シンデレラガールズ, romanized: Aidorumasutā Shinderera Gāruzu) is a Japanese free-to-play simulation video game co-developed by Cygames and Bandai Namco Studios, initially released on November 28, 2011 for feature phones and later extended to iOS and Android devices. It is a spin-off of The Idolmaster franchise, focusing on training aspiring pop idols. Players take on the role of a producer, guiding and training idols to stardom. The game uses a digital collectible card format where each idol is represented as a card. Players form units of idols for lessons, jobs, and competitions. The franchise has expanded to various media, including an anime television series produced by A-1 Pictures in 2015. This anime follows the journey of idols at 346 Production, particularly focusing on Rin Shibuya, Uzuki Shimamura, and Mio Honda, and was broadcast in Japan from January 10 to October 17, 2015. Additionally, Cygames developed a rhythm game titled The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage as another spin-off in 2015.
