Genesis of Aquarion Evol

Aquarion Evol (アクエリオンEVOL) is a Japanese original science fiction robot anime that aired in 2012, serving as a sequel to the 2005 anime Genesis of Aquarion. The story is set 12,000 years after the original series, with humanity residing on a planet called Vega, facing a threat from the planet Altair. Altair is plagued by the 'Curse of Eve,' which has drastically reduced its female population, leading them to invade Vega and abduct women to preserve their species. To combat the 'Abductors' from Altair, an organization called Neo-DEAVA uses giant robots known as 'Aquaria.' Due to a past incident, combining male and female pilots is prohibited, preventing Aquaria from reaching its full potential. The protagonist, Amata Sora, and Mikono Suzushiro, during a chance encounter, pilot Aquaria and initiate the forbidden male-female combination for the first time, awakening the hidden mechanical angel 'Aquarion Evol.' They then enter the Saint Angel Academy for training, gradually mastering Aquarion Evol's power, and engage in battles against Altair's enemies. The plot also interweaves complex character relationships and reincarnation themes, exploring the themes of love, understanding, and individual growth.
