"KanColle: See You Again on Another Quiet Blue Sea" (Japanese: 「艦これ」いつかあの海で) is a Japanese television anime produced by ENGI, serving as the second TV anime series in the "Kantai Collection" franchise. It aired from November 2022 to March 2023. The story is set in a world where humanity has lost control of the seas, facing a mysterious enemy called the "Abyssal Fleet." The only ones capable of fighting them are the "Kanmusu," young girls who inherit the souls of historical warships. The series focuses on the destroyer Shigure as she is assigned to the First Striking Force, Third Section (1YB3H), undertaking a diversionary mission alongside a group of outdated battleships and struggling for survival amid intense battles. The narrative is independent of the first season and the movie. The production process faced challenges, including multiple broadcast delays. Set in 1944, the storyline is loosely based on the Battle of Leyte Gulf, with some differences from the historical sinking dates of certain ships.
