Drifters

Drifters (ドリフターズ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kouta Hirano. It began serialization in Shōnen Gahosha's magazine Young King OURs in April 2009. The series centers on historical figures from various eras who are transported to a mysterious fantasy world, where they are known as "Drifters." These warriors must engage in a fierce battle against the "Ends," a group of powerful figures seeking to conquer and dominate this new realm. The unique appeal of Drifters lies in its fusion of real historical figures with fantasy elements, creating a dark and violent isekai war story. The manga has also been adapted into an anime series, further expanding its reach. Drifters has garnered a significant fanbase globally due to its original concept, intense battle scenes, and the creative reimagining of historical figures.
