Lovely Muuuuuuuco!

Lovely Muuuuuuuco! (Japanese: いとしのムーコ, Itoshi no Mūko) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takayuki Mizushina. It was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Evening from April 2011 to September 2020, with its chapters collected in 17 tankōbon volumes. The story revolves around the heartwarming everyday life of Muco, an Akita dog, and her glassblower owner, Komatsu-san. Muco is a sweet, sparkly-nosed dog who lives with her owner in the mountains. They enjoy walks and playing by the pond, and no matter where they go or what they do, Muco loves her best friend Komatsu-san. In addition to the manga, a short anime based on Lovely Muuuuuuuco! was used as interstitials on Fuji TV's Non-Stop! program in 2013 and 2014. Later, a separate 25-episode anime series began airing on October 3, 2015. The series is popular for its heartwarming stories and adorable characters. The manga was also licensed for publication in the US, which was announced at Anime Expo 2022.
