Ojisan and Marshmallow

"Ojisan and Marshmallow" (Japanese: おじさんとマシュマロ, Romaji: Ojisan to Mashumaro) is a Japanese comedy manga series created by Rekomaru Otoi, originally serialized online via the online community Pixiv, where it received over 20 million views. It was later acquired by Ichijinsha, and six tankōbon volumes have been published since 2014. The manga tells the story of Kusaka, a middle-aged man who loves marshmallows, and Wakabayashi, a young female colleague who is in love with him. Wakabayashi often teases Kusaka in various ways, such as eating marshmallows in front of him or buying out his favorite flavors. Although her friends don't understand why she likes Kusaka, she greatly admires his “marshmallow-like, fluffy” figure and tries to get his attention in various ways, hoping to develop a romantic relationship. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by Creators in Pack aired from January 7 to March 25, 2016, with each episode lasting approximately three minutes. The work portrays an office romance in a lighthearted and humorous way and is very popular among audiences.
