Snow White with the Red Hair (2016)

"Snow White with the Red Hair" (Akagami no Shirayukihime) is a Japanese anime series produced by Bones, adapted from the shōjo manga of the same name by Sorata Akizuki. The story centers on Shirayuki, a cheerful young apothecary with rare red hair. Her life changes dramatically when Prince Raji of Tanbarun notices her unique hair and attempts to force her to become his concubine. Refusing, Shirayuki cuts her hair and flees to the neighboring kingdom of Clarines, where she encounters Prince Zen Wistalia and his aides. Shirayuki finds a new purpose in Clarines, aiming to become a court herbalist while developing a deep relationship with Zen. The anime consists of two seasons, with the first airing from July to September 2015 and the second from January to March 2016, totaling 24 episodes. The narrative blends romance, fantasy, adventure, and comedy, showcasing Shirayuki's independence and her cross-social class romance with Zen.
